Durkan Entices Hospitality Interiors with its Trace of Lace Carpet Collection
MARIETA, Ga., January 16, 2009 — Durkan brings this year's most fashionable fabric to hospitality interiors with Trace of Lace. Inspired by the striking prominence of couture lace in Europe's Fall runway shows, Trace of Lace is a contemporary, stylistic Collection that adds sophistication and grandeur to an endless array of hospitality interiors.
True to its name, the patterns of the Collection feature elusive traces of lace, fading in- and out- of flowers and intricate swirls. Featuring five varying fashion-forward colorations, Trace of Lace encompasses 19 patterns: three corridor patterns, three medallion insets, nine broadloom patterns, two design borders and two four-door rugs. For the first time, designers have the option of a larger 5' x 8' size rug, in addition to the standard 6' x 9' size — furthering the Collection's design potential.
Trace of Lace is available in print, or with Durkan's Synthesis™ base grades, the industry's first and only texture overprint base-grade carpets that combine print patterns with tufted textured patterns.
From the hotel lobby and corridors to guest rooms and ballrooms, casinos, and areas of assisted living facilities, Durkan is world-renowned as an industry leader in innovative design solutions and high style, high-performance hospitality carpeting. With state-of-the-art spectronic printing, Computer Yarn Placement (CYP) tufting technology and forward-thinking pattern and texture technologies, Durkan's comprehensive line of patterned and custom carpet products provide the inspired design, advanced engineering and expressive style needed to set the right tone for every installation.
